Red Banana developed the Handloom Haat website and engineered six touchscreen experiences for a national handloom exhibition. Every station runs sealed (no internet, no keyboard) with generative woven graphics rendered live from each craft tradition's real palette, in English and Hindi.

The engineering underneath

Gallery panels have no internet, so every byte of content ships embedded. The apps read nothing from the network because there is no network to read from. Power fails without warning, so every station boots straight back into its experience. Attendants change, so a curator can update content as data, without an engineer. And because a passing test only means something when failure is possible, our suites plant deliberate faults and prove the checks catch them before every release, including this one.

Six touchscreen kiosk apps engineered for the Vishwakarma Gallery at Handloom Haat, Janpath: The Handloom Quiz (32" touch), Films of the Loom (15.6" + wall screen), Voices of the Loom (32" touch), Living Traditions (32" touch), Stories from the Archive (22" portrait) and Sounds of the Loom (22" portrait). Built for Windows and Android, running fully offline. 3,000+ checks in test across a 12-suite regression, including a 47-minute soak test.
